Filles Vertes Publishing’s Wednesday Industry Partners: #Interview w/ Owner of R&R Book Tours #FVPWIP #RRBookTours @RRBookTours1 @FillesVertesPub

Welcome to #FVPWIP!

Wait…what? FVP WIP? Are we here to talk about our works in progress?

No! We’re taking a brand-new spin on an age-old hashtag. #FVPWIP stands for:

Filles Vertes Publishing’s WEDNESDAY INDUSTRY PARTNERS.

Every Wednesday, we’re highlighting one incredible industry partner who is making a name for themselves in the book industry in a variety of ways, whether through review sites, bookstagrams, booktubes, authorship, and book boxes to name a few. These partners are the essential cogs in the publishing industry, the ones who connect the dots and keep the content flowing from our press to your bookshelves.

This is our way of saying thank you for all of their hard work, fresh “green” ideas, and dedication to this literary jungle we love so much!

INTERVIEW WITH OWNER SHANNON OF R&R BOOK TOURS:

What made you decide to start R&R Book Tours?

I had been blogging for a couple of years, meeting wonderful people and creating contacts, and one of the things that helped me broaden this network, was participating in blog tours, blitzes, etc…

I loved what I was doing, and I knew I did not want to go back to my 9 to 5 once my daughter reached kindergarten age. I wanted to be there for her as much as possible. So, I thought why not try organizing these events myself? I had the passion, the drive, and the know-how, why not try? R&R Book Tours was born.
